America 250: Common Threads

Crystal Bridges will be wrapping up their Common Threads exhibit on July 27. Many of us volunteered the past few months to be Quilters in Residence. What an experience! It was a joy to talk with so many visitors to the museum and hear their quilting stories!

A panel discussion with artist Basil Kincaid will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 2:00.

July Meeting with Bryan Wyatt

Bryan presented “From Patchwork to Pixels: AI and Quilting” to the guild at our July meeting. It was a very informative talk about AI in general but also how to use AI to help with your quilting projects.

Bryan mentioned that despite AI’s role, fabric selection, sewing, and emotional storytelling remain uniquely human elements.
